Twilight: "Spike..."

Spike: "OK, so all we have to do is catch all these little creature, then we can go home!"

Twilght: "How MANY of those "little creatures"?"

Spike: "Oh, just 150."

Twilight: "....."

Twilight should really monitor just WHAT Spike is buying form all these shops in Canterlot :)

Lemme guess, from enchanted retro consoles shop? Spike, you're so smart. This was clearly an elaborate ploy, so he can say, twilight, I choose you!

Oh yes that was funny I wonder what they would do, is Twilight taking the place of Picachu if so Spike wouldn't need any more Pokemon to become the best.

More like monitoring where he shops.  Hey, at least he wasn't playing Pokemon Y/X.  Imagine having to get 715 of the little bastards.

There ARE worse games to get sucked into.

Contra, Castlevania, Super Mario Bros., or if the gods are really mean, an LJN game.

That's clearly Pokemon Red/Blue. Only 150 exist in those games. (Well, 151, but how would one go about performing the mew glitch in this scenario?)

If I remember correctly the original games only had 137 pokemon each, and in order to get all 150 you had to link up with another Game Boy and trade with a friend.

Spike just HAD to get his Gameboy from a Magic Shop.

(HOPE SPIKE STAYS AWAY FROM THE LATER POKEMON GAMES)

(IF HE THOUGHT CATCHING 150 WAS HARD.....TRY OVER 500!!!)

I think that you mean 151, Spike, and you don't need to catch them all: some evolve into others.

The ironic thing is that I just saw one of my coworkers playing Pokemon Blue Version today.

Hey Twilight look on the bright side at least you weren't sucked into Kalos, then you would have had about 560 more pokemon to catch.

In Cerulean city as you battle your way to Bill's house, there is a trainer that you must avoid. Once you have acquired HM Fly, you go back to Cerulean city and walk in front of the trainer you did not battle. Once in he sees you, spam the menu button so that the menu appears after he has an exclamation mark above his head but before he can walk forward. Select your flying type and set destination to Lavender town. If done right, you should fly off, with the trainer still walking forwards to battle. Once in Lavender Town, take the west path out and you will encounter a level Mew. Gametrailers and Youtube proves this works.

I mis-worded the question. That requires a video game interface, so how would Spike and Twilight pull it off?

Since they were transferred to a video game world, I would assume things such as glitches would still occur that affect their reality within the game
